About our candles
Les Mimipots offer you handmade soy wax candles.
We make our own candles with essential oils or natural fragrances.
We take soy wax, which is vegan, unlike beeswax for example. In addition, our choice fell on soy wax, because it cleans up well! So you can reuse the pot when all the wax is melted.
Our wax stands out for its quality and long burning time.
Unlike other waxes, soy wax does not increase carbon dioxide in your environment. Basically, it's smoke free.
Soy wax is biodegradable and very environmentally friendly.
In addition, especially for the summer we thought of you. You can request a candle with lemongrass scent.
Citronella keeps mosquitoes away and our candles are less harmful to the environment than chemicals sold elsewhere.
Nevertheless, please follow these few rules for proper use and for certain incidents:
Try to keep candles out of reach of children and pets; Do not leave your candles near flammable products.
When your candle is finished, you can reuse the jar for other functions or even reflow wax to make yourself a new candle.
More information :
Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from soybean oil. After harvest, the beans are cleaned, cracked, shelled and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids into unsaturated oil to be saturated. This process dramatically changes the oil's melting point, making it solid at room temperature. Leftover bean pods are commonly used as animal feed.
The United States grows the vast majority of the world's soybeans, primarily in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana.
What are the benefits?
The biggest advantage of soy is that it is completely renewable. As global oil reserves dwindle and wax prices rise, the only limit to the supply of soybeans is how much we choose to grow.
In addition to durability, a well-made soy candle will burn cleanly and slowly.
Guarantee: Eco-friendly, renewable, American-grown, sustainable, carbon-neutral products; The list is lengthened increasingly.
