Sediment separator for concrete

Congratulations! You found the QR code for the sediment separator!*

But what is this?

The sediment separator is a key component in my workshop that helps me keep my workspace clean and protect the environment.

During production, the concrete I work with is made up of cement, sand (according to my recipe), fibers, and other ingredients. After each batch, I have to clean all my equipment, and that's where the separator comes in. When I rinse my tools, the water carries concrete residue with it. Rather than letting this sediment clog my drain, I set up a settling and filtration system.

Here's how it works:

  1. Settling: Dirty water goes through several stages where heavy particles settle to the bottom.
  2. Filtration: Through a filter system that I change every three months, the water is gradually filtered of the largest pieces that could get lodged.
  3. Result: At the end of the process, the clearest possible water remains in the last boiler, ready to be safely discharged into the drain.

Once the sediment has settled to the bottom, I empty the clean water down the drain and dispose of the remaining sediment in the trash.

This system requires regular maintenance, but it allows me to work responsibly and sustainably, taking care of the environment while creating my concrete pieces.

Don't forget to leave us a review on Google about your experience in the Mimipots workshop, we would be delighted!
