2. Prepare the cup

Make sure the stainless steel cup is securely placed inside the concrete firebox.

3. Get some ethanol

You will need ethanol to light your Mimi-Foyer. Here are some places where you can get some:

Burn time

Your Mimi-Foyer offers a burn time of approximately 2 hours when the cup is filled to the max line.

And there you have it! Your mini fireplace is ready to use.

Using your Mimi-Foyer with ethanol

Step 1: Fill the cup

Carefully pour the ethanol into the stainless steel container. To avoid spills, use a funnel if necessary.

  • In case of spillage : Do not attempt to light the fireplace immediately. Wipe off any ethanol with a dry cloth before continuing.

Step 2: Ignition

Use a long match or lighter to light the ethanol. Typical burn time is about 1.5 hours.

  • Important : Never refill the fireplace immediately after extinguishing. Wait until it has completely cooled down.

Step 3: Extinction

To extinguish the flame, use a snuffer or heat-resistant accessory that cuts off the air.

  • Caution : Do not touch the fire pit until it has cooled, as concrete and steel can remain hot for a long time.
