Our founder's father was passionate about woodworking and spent much of his free time creating wooden objects, including a beautiful soap maker. However, he quickly found that wood had its limitations, particularly regarding humidity and constant contact with soap. The wooden soap dish would eventually warp, deteriorate, and become sticky over time.
It was then that our founder, Myriam, who had a passion for working with concrete, had a bold idea. She decided to take the concept of the wooden soap maker and recreate it using concrete as the main material. She started by casting the existing wooden soap maker in silicone, then used that mold to pour concrete and create our unique concrete soap maker.
The result is a soap dish that is both sturdy and aesthetically appealing. Thanks to its concrete composition, it is resistant to humidity and does not deteriorate over time. It also provides a smooth surface that does not stick to soap, making cleaning and daily use easier.
